School Truancy

Any person 17 or under is subject to Louisville Metro / Jefferson County Government Title XIII (General Offenses) Chapter 137 (Juvenile Offenses) within the City of Worthington Hills. If a police officer determines or has reasonable cause to believe that a school attendance violation has occurred, the police officer may obtain from the student the information necessary to issue a warning to the student's parent, guardian, or person having legal custody.
